Kingdom of God is Within You

by E. S. John, Australia

"We read in Holy Bible as Jesus said:
"Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17: 21"

This is a wrong translation that has evicted many Christians from their churches, and has caused many of our own people to take it for granted not to participate in the church liturgy because the Kingdom of God is within you (them). They satisfy themselves with their routine and mundane minutes of baffling.

"...the kingdom of God is in the midst of you", Lk.17: 21, (correct translation) `not within you', RSVP bible.

Jesus was replying to the Pharisees' question, in a correct and direct way because they always thought that heavenly spectacles happen through miracles, as happened before in Egypt, or in wilderness journeys, etc. The notion of many Christians of today is that they believe in Jesus only if preceded by miracles and oracles and material prosperity. "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe", Jn.4: 48, Jesus said. Fake miracles are the currency of the charismatic Christians. It was just to inform them not to enquire about Jesus' coming again because He was in the midst of them, AS KINGDOM OF GOD IS WHERE THE SON OF MAN IS. Though it was a direct and straight forward answer, they thought that He was claiming as a Messiah, or they didn't understand Him, just as we translate everything for our own theology of opportunism. This sort of translation definitely is to mislead and hook believers into their fold.

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them", Mt.18: 19-20. As this chapter is dedicated entirely for the apostles and their internal politics of 'greatest in Heaven', it sounds that two or three apostles gather together refers to indirectly and strictly to consecration ceremony, though it is alluded to the laity believers also, as the word 'lahamo' used in the Lord's prayer means 'bread' that can be applied to daily food or 'aharam' in a general sense. But wheat and weed reference in the other parables give weight to the translation 'bread'. These sort of modern translators, theologians and miracle theologies are the real Pharisees and Sadducees of modern evangelization.

"Be still, and know that I am God", Ps.46: 10, RSVP is: "Stop fighting", he says, "and know that I am God", Good News bible. Look at another one....."but knew her not until she had born a son; and he called his name Jesus", Mt.1: 25. "But he had no sexual relationship with her before she gave birth to her son". Compare with these verses with modern translations that exhibit the deliberate perversion of truth, the gulf of difference in the meanings, the reason for Christian anarchy which flower a global empire of a global GREAT BABYLON OF Antichrist, Rev.17: 5.

Just as a seed holds a tree within itself, we are the stewards of our own Heaven that buds here on earth, and flower and bear forth fruit after our exit from this planet. Those who will have an entry into Heaven will start enjoying it inwardly continually by wading through the river of afflictions and strife, tears and sweats.

My request therefore is to read the authentic bibles and true scriptural elucidations and the biographies of old Church Fathers.
