Refugeees in Asti 2 camp in Erbil, Iraq
Christian refugees in Asti2 camp in Erbil, Iraq. Every caravan has a large crucifix,
often illuminated, outside, and items of devotion inside. It is remarkable that
in spite of the severe hardships they face, the refugees haven't lost their faith and
still feel secure in the shelter offered by God.

4. Saints in The Hands of a Humble Heaven

6. America and 'The Door of Humility'

Few virtues of life could be more necessary than humility. The prophet Micah said that it is an essential requirement of God: "He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). ...

7. Before Honor Is Humility: The Story of Andrew

Andrew seems more concerned with serving than building his reputation. His attitude was opposite that of James and John when they asked to be first in the Kingdom. There were times when some of the disciples would haggle over who would be the greatest, but Andrew was not involved in these debates. He did not press for a conspicuous place of honor. His emphasis was on the work of Jesus Christ. He exemplifies quiet humble labor, "not with eye service as men-pleasers" (Ephesians 6:6; Colossians 3:22), but service from the heart. ...

Ask any Christian parent what their dying wish would be, and they will tell you, "That my children will love and follow Jesus." Unfortunately, many parents face the unbearable experience of watching their children leave the faith they grew up learning. ...

10. Christian Life: How to Apply a Psalm to Your Life

God has given us the book of Psalms to show us the humanity of the Psalmist and to remind us of where our hope must be placed. The Psalms remind us that even David, a man after God's own heart, had failures and was cleansed, worshiped freely, had many times where he didn't know what to do, and proclaimed his trust in His God despite the scary circumstances around him. ..

11. Career: Reliability

Reliability is that wonderful quality some people have that means they do what they say they will do. They not only do it, but they do it when they say they will, with a sense of commitment and a positive attitude. They are trustworthy and their word is their bond. ...
